Designs according to Sefar's brochures

Sefar does its fabrication in-house. The design is chosen to suit the machine and the process.

Seams and edges

  • Welded filters without stitching holes, so there is no product loss through the stitching holes
  • Sewn, taped, welded, heat cut and pressed, or coated edges
  • Customised and standardised edge designs that fit existing equipment

Closures for filter belts

  • Metal clippers in various grades, for example Alligator clippers with seam
  • Reinforced closure area, overlap and underlap
  • Sealing thread for a particle-tight closure, Velcro optional
  • Marking of cake side and running direction

Cutting and components

  • Laser, heat, ultrasonic and cold cutting
  • Punching with ultrasonic or cold tools
  • Ultrasonic welding, pleating and tube making
  • Heat cut edges are sealed and do not fray, and ultrasonically welded seams are tight and strong
